The boardwalk gives life to Coney Island. It acts as a liner promenade for the voyeur and the exhibitionist as well as the casual flâneur. This project redirects a portion of the boardwalk to act as an extension of the existing pier. Venor boxes mimic the current condition on the boardwalk along the redirected path. The paths terminate along the visual axis of the pier allowing for a point from which to observe the perpetual theater that is Coney Island.
